Your Planning Session
A working session where I learn about your family and goals. You'll leave with a clear understanding of what you need and which plan fits, with the flat fee explained privately before anything begins.
Your Plan Design Session
We walk through your options together — will vs. trust, powers of attorney, healthcare directives — and I design your plan around what matters most to your family. Then I draft everything for your review.
Signing & Peace of Mind
Your final documents are reviewed with you and properly signed. Your wishes are on paper and your family knows who is in charge. Trust clients also receive written funding instructions and a funding consultation, so the trust can do its job.

Decide exactly who inherits what, and how. A properly funded revocable trust can let assets pass outside probate and keep your plan private; for many families, a will is all they need.

Name someone you trust to manage finances and legal decisions if you ever can't. Without this, your family has to go to court for permission.

Healthcare proxies, living wills, and advance directives — drafted by an attorney who's used them clinically in emergency departments.

I'm Shlomo Himmel — an attorney licensed in New Jersey and New York since 2014. I've served as a temporary municipal prosecutor and as ethics attorney for Edison Township, and today my practice is focused on estate planning, trusts, and probate for New Jersey families.

I take the time to understand who depends on you, what you own, and what could go wrong, then build documents that hold up when your family needs them. I've also worked as a registered nurse, so healthcare directives and powers of attorney get the same practical attention as everything else.
I run my own practice so every client works directly with me and knows the fee before any work begins.
When you work with me, you work with me. I meet with you, draft your documents, review them with you, and supervise your signing. What your plan includes, such as help funding a trust, is spelled out in your engagement agreement. No hourly billing, no surprises.
