In addition to building my law practice, I have spent nearly a decade in the medical field as an EMT and an Emergency Room nurse. I have been at a patient’s side during tough conversations about their medical wishes and have helped families understand not only the legal but also the emotional significance of these difficult decisions. I know firsthand the importance of proper planning and communication with loved ones.

As a young lawyer, I had the chance to serve as Communications Director for a member of the New York State Senate, a role that sharpened my skills in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and advocating for clients. In that role, I helped draft legislation that allows family members to care for their loved ones in their own home. On the other side of the bridge, in New Jersey, I worked on a legislative proposal to create a program that offers service members with mental illnesses suspected of committing an eligible offense a path away from the criminal justice system so that they can receive appropriate assistance.

In addition to running my law firm, I served as Ethics Attorney for the Township of Edison. I also taught courses on bioethics and healthcare policy as an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University. I served on the board of Jewish Family Services and as a Chief for our community’s EMS squad.

I received my Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Rutgers University and a degree in Political Science from Touro University. I am admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York, and I am admitted to appear before the District Court of the Federal District of New Jersey.

Passionate about being able to help others, my practice specifically focuses on probate, elder law, and estate planning. My experience as a nurse enables me to bring empathy into what can at times be very difficult conversations and tough decisions.
